A large crowd is expected Sunday morning for a memorial in honor of actor Michael Clarke Duncan.

A public viewing of the casket will take place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Hall of Liberty at Forest Lawn Memorial Parks and Mortuaries in the Hollywood Hills. A private, invitation-only service will be held Monday.

In the days since Duncan's death, a growing memorial to the late actor has appeared outside his home. Flowers, candles, notes and cards are being left by fans and neighbors.

"RIP Michael Clarke Duncan" and "We will miss you" were among the messages left. The Daily News has a collection of photos of the memorial at his Woodland Hills home.

Duncan, 54, died at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, according to a statement from his publicist, Joy Fehily. He had suffered a heart attack in July and did not recover.

Craig Harvey of the Los Angeles County coroner's office said Tuesday that there was nothing to suggest officials needed to review the case. Officials noted that Duncan had heart problems and was under medical care.

In such cases, it is normal for the doctor to sign the death certificate without any review by the coroner.

In addition to his mother, Jean, and sister, Judith, Duncan is survived by his fiancee, reality-television personality Omarosa Manigault.
