A bomb threat at Dulles International Airport caused multiple flight delays.

The threat was received about 9 p.m. Police are searching in parking garages. Earlier they looked at terminals but nothing was found. The terminals are open and flights are operating normally, according to Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority representative Kim Gibbs.

MWAA asked all airlines not to approach terminal gates because of a security threat, according to a United Airlines spokesperson. They've since been told flights can start approaching again, but several departing flights were delayed.

Passengers report being told to evacuate at least one plane due to a TSA emergency.

They also reported seeing bomb-sniffing dogs in terminals.
