Editor's note: Twelve jurors deliberated for just over 36 hours before convicting ex-NFL star Aaron Hernandez of first-degree murder in the 2013 shooting death of his friend, Odin Lloyd. Hernandez was found guilty on all three charges: murder, unlawful possession of a firearm and unlawful possession of ammunition. The murder charge carries a mandatory life sentence without parole under Massachusetts state law, while the possession charges could carry a maximum of seven years combined. The judge will sentence Hernandez shortly. - Rebecca
